United Anodisers was formed in 2007 from two major companies in the UK architectural finishing market, LHT Anodisers and Heywood Metal finishers. These two companies have a wealth of experience having been in production in this market since the 1960's. United Anodisers is the leading player in the European market.
With production facilities in Uxbridge and Huddersfield in the UK, United Anodisers is the world's largest producer of Anolok™ II Grey colour finishes and has the widest range of architectural anodised colour options in Europe.
The two plants, between them, produce over 2 million square metres a year in any one of 40 different colours.
Our unrivalled experience in our industry permits us to offer expert advice on the selection of the appropriate metal and anodising treatment for any given application ? whether architectural, design or industrial.

Materials
All of our colouring processes are carried out after the normal sulphuric acid anodising film is produced, all standard architectural aluminium alloys can be colour anodised by UA including the normal range of 6063/6060 aluminium extrusions. We would recommend Novellis J57sUP or Aleris 55HX for any sheet requirements.
Planning
UA operate a planning system that allows for customer's work to be booked in to a production slot before the material arrives at our premises. This enables us to allocate the amount of production time required in advance and, more importantly, give our customer's a firm completion date before we have received a delivery.
